Dr. Farhan Majeed

Dr. Farhan Majeed is the proud founder of PULSE, The Heart, Valve, and vascular Institute in Port Charlotte, Florida. He has provided patients with the high-quality, compassionate, and service-oriented care they deserve.

He is passionate about bringing new ideas and cutting-edge therapies, such as complex cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions as well as minimally invasive structural heart therapies such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) watchman device and MitraClip, to his patients.

In addition to becoming a resource for other physicians and providers in the community, he strives to improve the quality of life for every patient that walks into his practice.

Dr. Majeed is an interventional cardiologist who takes great pride in providing comprehensive and state-of-the-art expertise in all aspects of cardiac, vascular, and structural heart disease.

Once Dr. Majeed completed his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2009, he practiced interventional cardiology at St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland for seven years. At St. Joseph Medical Center, he performed high-volume coronary interventions and led the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

To expand his expertise and provide the most innovative care, Dr. Majeed spent an additional two years at the renowned Mount Sinai Hospital in New York to complete additional formal fellowships in peripheral intervention and structural heart disease intervention.
