Dr. Farhan Majeed is the founder of
PULSE: The Heart, Valve, and
Vascular Institute, located in Port
Charlotte, Florida. He is dedicated to
delivering high-quality,
compassionate, and patient-centered
cardiovascular care.
Dr. Majeed is passionate about
introducing innovative,
evidence-based treatments,
including complex cardiac and
peripheral vascular interventions,
and minimally invasive structural
heart procedures such as
Transcatheter Aortic Valve
Replacement (TAVR), the
Watchman™ device, and MitraClip™.
In addition to serving as a trusted
resource for referring physicians and
healthcare providers, he is
committed to improving the quality
of life for each patient under his care.
Dr. Majeed is an interventional cardiologist who takes great pride in providing comprehensive and state-of-the-art expertise in all aspects of cardiac, vascular, and structural heart disease.
After completing fellowships in
cardiovascular disease and
interventional cardiology at the
University of Maryland Medical
Center in 2009, Dr. Majeed spent
seven years practicing at St. Joseph
Medical Center in Baltimore,
Maryland. There, he performed
high-volume coronary interventions
and served as the lead physician in
the cardiac catheterization
laboratory.
To further advance his expertise, Dr.
Majeed completed two additional
fellowships at the prestigious Mount
Sinai Hospital in New York, focusing
on peripheral vascular intervention
and structural heart disease.
Dr. Majeed has made Florida his home for over six years, where he continues to provide exceptional, patient-focused care in a welcoming and modern environment.
